VERNON, NY- The 2015 season at the Utica-Rome Speedway already looks to exciting, but for kids it will prove to be even more entertaining. The popular Kids Club will be headed up by Dave Kingwater this season, and monthly activities are planned to keep the young race fans involved all season long.

In April, a visit from the Oneida County K-9 Unit is planned while May will bring an autograph night featuring MMA fighters. In the month of June, a visit by the Space Walk of Mohawk Valley is planned while July will feature an Ice Cream Party by Rock Star Ice Cream while in August a night of face painting is planned.

All the activities planned are in addition to the weekly bike giveaway to Kids Club members. To join the Kids Club, just go to the office window just as you enter the speedway gates.

This season will feature new pricing for the younger fans as for regular weekly events, kids 16 and under will be admitted for free. This pricing is in effect for every Sunday show except for the Night of Legends on August 16 and World of Outlaws on October 25 and is not in effect for other special events. Students, including college students with proper current ID and senior citizens will also enjoy a weekly discounted rate.

Discounted children, student, and senior citizen rates do not apply to the pits where normal licenses and non-licensed rates will apply.

The Utica-Rome Speedway is set to begin the 2015 NASCAR Whelen All-American Series season on Sunday April 19 with Twin 20 lap features for the Stampede Steakhouse Modifieds which will pay a full weekly purse in each feature. Regular events are also schedule for the 602 Sportsman, Open Sportsman, and Pro Street Stocks.
