SHOWERS FORCE JUNE 2 CANCELATION

VERNON, NY – Tonight’s Friendly Family of Dealerships of Hamilton & Geneva program has been canceled due a strong chance of showers during race time.

A pop-up storm is scheduled to hit the racing area between the 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. time frame, forcing speedway officials to nix the Friday night program.

Racing resumes next Friday June 9, when A-Verdi Storage Containers presents the first appearance for the CRSA 305 Sprint Cars of the 2023 season.

The 3 Bastards Brewing Modifieds, Worthington Industries Crate 602 Sportsman, Next Generation Graphix Pro Stocks, Fastline Performance Limited Sportsman, and Fonda Fair Four Cylinders round out the racing program.

Gates open at 5 p.m., with hot laps at 6:45 p.m. and racing at 7:30 p.m.

Grandstand admission is $18 for Adults, $16 for Seniors (ages 65 and up), with Kids 11 and under admitted FREE. Pit admission is $40 (ages 13 and up), $35 (NASCAR or Utica-Rome Members), $10 Kids (ages 6-12) and $2 for Children ages 5 and under.

The event – and all Utica-Rome 2023 races – will be broadcast live on FloRacing (www.floracing.tv) as part of the $150 annual subscription.
