VERNON, NY- With precipitation starting to fall in the early afternoon and an unfavorable forecast forced Utica-Rome Speedway management to cancel the racing program for Sunday May 10.  On tap for the special Mother Days program was Twin 20’s for the Stampede Steakhouse Modifieds plus regular events for the 602 Sportsman, Open Sportsman, and Pro Street Stocks.

Action will resume next when Wilber-Duck Chevrolet and Certified Auto Outlet Inc. presents another exciting regular show of Stampede Steakhouse Modifieds, 602 Sportsman, Open Sportsman, and Pro Street Stocks.  Gates will open at 3:30 p.m. with racing set to begin at 6 p.m.  Regular admission is $13 for adults while kids 16 and under are free.
