Ferris Mowers presents $5 Friday at Utica-Rome Speedway July 28

VERNON, NY – Yes, you heard correctly.

This Friday, July 28 at Utica-Rome Speedway, Ferris Mowers presents ‘$5 Friday’ featuring a complete program of NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series auto racing at the Home of Heroes.

Grandstand admission is just $5.

On the half-mile clay oval, the 3 Bastards Brewing Modifieds, Worthington Industries Crate 602 Sportsman, Next Generation GraphiX Pro Stocks, Fastline Performance Limited Sportsman and Fonda Fair Four Cylinders continue their 2023 championship battles.

Senior Services Inc. Allstar Slingshots and Junior Slingshots return to the inner oval to complete the program.

Point leaders entering Friday’s program are Matt Sheppard (Modified), Payton Talbot (Crate 602 Sportsman), Bret Belden (Pro Stock), Zack Welch (Limited Sportsman), Rudy King Jr. (Four Cylinder Dual Cam), Wayne Russell Jr. (Four Cylinder Single Cam), Brett Putnam (Allstar Slingshot) and Bodie Marks (Junior Slingshot).

Gates open at 5 p.m., with hot laps at 6:45 p.m. and racing at 7:30 p.m.

Grandstand admission is $5. Kids 11 and under are FREE.

Pit admission is $40 (ages 13 and up), $35 for NASCAR and Utica-Rome members, $10 for Kids ages 6-12 and $2 for Children ages 5 and under.

The event – and all Utica-Rome 2023 races – will be broadcast live on FloRacing (www.floracing.tv) as part of the $150 annual subscription.
