Utica-Rome Speedway Dunk Tank to Raise Money for Bobby Page Backpack Foundation at Syracuse Motorsports Expo

VERNON, NY – This coming weekend the Utica-Rome Speedway is ready to kick-off the 2020 racing season at the 34th Annual Syracuse Motorsports Expo with a splash. For the first time ever, the speedway’s booth at the show will feature a dunk tank.

Several members of the Utica-Rome Speedway community have graciously volunteered to take their chances of getting wet for a good cause. All proceeds from the dunk tank will go directly to the Bobby Page Backpack Foundation. The foundation supplies fully stocked backpacks to kids in attendance on Back to School Night at Utica-Rome which will be August 16th.

The Bobby Page Foundation’s mission is to improve the quality of life to the less fortunate children the in the community. The family and friends of Bobby Page felt it very important to carry on the true spirit of Bobby, who was taken at the young age of 25 after a very tough battle with cancer. The 5th annual Bobby Page Foundation night at Utica-Rome Speedway presented by Park’s Paving is slated for Sunday, August 16. On that night the DirtTrackDigest.com DIRTcar 358-Modifieds, Broedel Fuel Group DIRTcar Sportsman, Ted’s Body Shop Pro Stocks, Street Stocks, and Bernie’s Extreme Performance Parts Rookie Sportsman will all be in action.

The Syracuse Motorsports Expo is scheduled to open on Saturday from 10AM to 8PM and on Sunday from 11AM to 4PM. Admission prices are the adults $13, kids 6-12 $5 with five and under FREE. The special weekend adult price is $20.
