The 2nd Annual Racer Bash at Nothin’ Fancy Café on 10 Ruth Street in Vernon, NY will feature the race cars of just some of the stars that compete weekly at the Utica-Rome Speedway along with some of the drivers that make up the tough weekly field at the famed speedway.

Big Dog BBQ will also be on hand with a chicken barbecue to provide some great food to the hungry visitors of the popular event.  Local band Double Chase will also be on hand to provide the musical entertainment throughout the event.  Additionally, there will be door prizes given out throughout the afternoon.

Kids are welcome and will have plenty of activities to do including a bouncy house and pictures with their favorite drivers and cars.  Any child under 12 can enter a drawing to win a chance to do the “Gentlemen Start Your Engines” command at the Victoria 200 or New Yorker 200.

So plan on being on hand on April 6 at 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Nothin’ Fancy Café to get your early season look at some of the stars of the Utica-Rome Speedway and their racers and enjoy some great food and musical entertainment.  Tickets are $10 each for adults, with kids ages 6-12 at $5, with 5 and under admitted for free.
