UTICA-ROME SPEEDWAY HIRES NEW TECH INSPECTOR FOR 2008 SEASON
VERNON , NY- Preparations for the upcoming 2008 race season at Utica-Rome Speedway with the hiring of Lloyd Larmon as the new Technical Inspector. Larmon is no stranger to the local auto racing scene which he will use to his advantage in his new role at the Utica-Rome Speedway.
Larmon has been involved in both snowmobile and auto racing for 40 years as driver and crew member. Larmon’s credentials include being involved in tech inspection at Super DIRT Week and being an IMCA inspector at The Dirt Track at Lowes Motor Speedway. Currently Larmon also serves as the Chief Tech Inspector at both Caprara’s Thunder Alley Speedpark and Can-Am Motorsports Park . The Pure Stock and Thunder Class rules at both speedways run under rules written by Larmon.

The Utica-Rome Speedway will get underway on Sunday April 20 with the Sportsman, Pro Stocks, and the SUNY Canton Street Stock Open Series plus open practice.
