SUNOCO RACE FUELS AND INSINGER PERFORMANCE TO PROVIDE POWER FOR WEEKLY RACING AT THE UTICA-ROME SPEEDWAY
VERNON, NY- For the next three seasons, Sunoco Race Fuels will be the official fuel for weekly NASCAR Whelen All-American Series racing at the Utica-Rome Speedway. Insinger Performance, based out of Dushore PA, will be the official supplier of Sunoco racing fuel at the famed oval.
Backed by nearly five decades of proven and winning performance, Sunoco has become the largest manufacturer and refiner of racing gasolines in the world. Sunoco’s winning tradition has allowed its brand to become the official fuel of NASCAR as well as the official fuel of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, home of the Indianapolis 500. Locally, Sunoco Race Fuels powers the Race of Champions Dirt Modified Series as well which has two stops scheduled at the Utica-Rome Speedway. As with the past several years, fuel sales at the speedway are only allowed by the approved, and insured, vendors at the speedway. No other fuel sales are allowed on the speedway grounds.
Utica-Rome Speedway is set to begin its season on Sunday April 19 with Twin 20 lap features for the Stampede Steakhouse Modifieds, 602 Sportsman, Open Sportsman, and Pro Street Stocks. Gates will open at 3:30 p.m. with racing promptly at 6 p.m. Preseason activities include a HigFab Chassis Seminar and practice session on Saturday April 11.
