Vernon, NY – Utica-Rome Speedway race fans and drivers alike will be a part of the 2015 NASCAR HomeTracks program with Ingersoll Rand, the Official Tool of NASCAR. The program kicks off this Sunday May 3 at the historic Route 5 track.

Once a month, drivers who win the feature in 3 of the 4 NASCAR Whelen All-American Series divisions will be eligible to receive an Ingersoll Rand tool prize package valued at $600. The division who did not receive a prize in the first month will be rotated in during the next. Each racer will be required to carry the Ingersoll Rand decal to collect the prize. If no decal is displayed, the prize will go to the next driver in the finishing order who has the decal displayed. Other races dates as part of the program are June 7, July 5, and August 2. This Sunday, the Stampede Steakhouse Modifieds, 602-Sportsman, and Open Sportsman will receive the laurels.

Race fans also will be able to participate to win an Ingersoll Rand Power Tools merchandise pack by participating in the Text to Win program which will run weekly through the end of August of this season. One winner will be selected each week from everyone who texts IRToolsURS to 313131. Ingersoll Rand will notify each winner and receive their prize pack directly from Ingersoll Rand. The IR Power Tools bag will include a koozie, magnet and hat with a value of $25.

Fans must remember to enter each week. All tracks who achieve an average of at least 20 texts per week from race fans will be entered to win one of three (3) Special Edition Ingersoll Rand Power Tools Club Car Golf carts to be awarded at the Year End Banquet.

NASCAR Whelen All-American Series race action continues this Sunday May 3 at Utica-Rome Speedway on Whelen Engineering Night. In professional stock car race excitement will be the Stampede Steakhouse Modifieds, 602-Sportsman, Open Sportsman, Mod Lites, and Pro Street Stocks. Race time is set for 6pm.
