Tuesday Practice Canceled, Racing Begins Friday at Utica-Rome Speedway

Due to saturated grounds and an ongoing mist/light rain, Tuesday night’s (May 4) Open Practice at Utica-Rome Speedway has been canceled.

The first race of the 2021 season is scheduled for this Friday, May 7 with the Sunoco Modifieds, Worthington Industries Crate 602 Sportsman, Fastline Performance Limited Sportsman, Next Generation Grafix Pro Stocks, Cool Stuff Antiques Four Cylinders, Senior Services Inc. Slingshots and D&S Landscaping Junior Slingshots.

Gates open at 5 p.m. Hot laps get underway at 6:45 p.m. and racing begins at 7 p.m.

Grandstand admission is $12 for Adults, $10 for Seniors (ages 65 and up) and Kids 11 and under are FREE.

Pit admission is $35 for Non-Members and $30 for Utica-Rome Speedway members.

Due to the wet spring, all practices at the Motocross track has been postponed. A new opening date will be announced in the coming days.
