VERNON, NY- This Friday evening, Friday August 26, Utica-Rome Speedway will change things up a bit and offer a different type of motorsports activity when Clinton Tractor & Implement present Truck Pulls at the famed Vernon oval.  Instead of going around the track at high speeds, trucks will be going in a straight line in an attempt to out pull their opponents. 

Four classes will be action a with Enhanced Gas, 2.5 Workstock, 2.6 Diesel, and Mod 4×4 being the featured division.  Complete rules about the pulls is available at www.shootoutproductionsinc.com or by calling (413) 575-1129.  Interest has been high since this event was announced and continues to grow each day. 

Gates will open at 4:30 p.m. with pulling beginning at 7 p.m.  General admission is just $10 for adults while Senior, Student, and Military are admitted for $8.  Children 16 and under are free.  Pit passes are $13.
