BROEDEL ENERGY BECOMES THE OFFICIAL ENERGY SUPPLIER OF THE UTICA-ROME SPEEDWAY AND TITLE SPONSOR OF THE OPEN SPORTSMAN

VERNON, NY- The Open Sportsman now have a title sponsor for the upcoming 2016 season as Broedel Energy has become a marketing partner with Utica-Rome Speedway.  The exciting division, which provides a stepping stone between the 602 Sportsman and Modified divisions, will be known as the Broedel Energy Open Sportsman in all releases and results in 2016.  Also, Broedel Energy will be the “Official Energy Supplier” of the Utica-Rome Speedway by keeping all the heavy equipment on the move by supplying diesel fuel and providing the propane gas for the concession areas. 

Located in Hubbardsville NY, Broedel Energy has been providing energy products in the region since 2001.  They deliver propane gas, fuel oil, kerosene, diesel fuels, and gasoline to homes, farms, and businesses in the communities of Madison, Oneida, Chenango, and parts of Herkimer and Otsego counties.  Broedel also prides themselves on offering exceptional customer service, timely deliveries, and affordable pricing. 

Broedel Energy has a great appreciation of auto racing and have been involved for years as owner Jason Broedel and his father, Bruce, have competed in the Mod Lite division while Jason has also competed in the 305 Sprints.  Broedel Energy have also been longtime sponsors in the sport by sponsoring Mod Lite competitor Sam Usborne and Pro Stock veteran driver Bret Belden.  The Sales and Marketing Director at Broedel Energy, Shane Andrews, is a well-known announcer in the sport as well, having been at Utica-Rome Speedway and other local speedways as well as some internet and television broadcasts.  Broedel Energy will be sponsoring four event at the Utica-Rome Speedway in 2016 with two of the them being when the popular Empire Super Sprints visit on May 29 and September 4.  They will also sponsor the Super DIRT Week special on Tuesday October 4 and another event on May 1.

On track action at the Utica-Rome Speedway kicks off a Test and Tune practice session on Saturday April 9.  Practice will run from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.  Then on Sunday April 17, the official start of the 2016 season will begin when Busch Beer presents Twin 20’s for the Gates-Cole Insurance Modifieds plus a complete show of SUNY Canton 602 Sportsman, Broedel Energy Open Sportsman, and the Pro Stocks.  Racing to start the 55th season at the Vernon oval will begin at 6 p.m.  For more information, log on to www.uticaromespeedway.com or call the speedway office at (315) 829-4557.
